What is Taxi Dog?

Taxi Dog is an innovative, fun, and engaging universal prevention program designed to teach Social Emotional Learning (SEL)Definition:the processes through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions  with young learners ages 3 through 9 (preschool through 3rd grade). SEL is a process for learning fundamental life skills including: understanding and managing emotions, resolving conflicts, building relationships, and approaching work and other tasks effectively and ethically.

The goals of the Taxi Dog program are to promote:

  • A caring, compassionate, classroom environment

Short entertaining video stories serve as a springboard into multi-sensory, play-based lessons, which are accessed through our website.
